Canada eh – 2009 World Tour Progress Report

It was a quick and cool ride to vancouver. Lot’s of clouds and a little rain. The shipping port for my bike was seemless and went smoothly. They had this metal pod I had to parallel park my bike in. then they tied it down and closed it up. Like a big crate. There was enough room for me. I could have probably just camped out in it until I got to frankfurt and saved some money. It’s ready to go and I’m without my bike for the first time since last week. I went to british columbia’s largest casino and walked out $300 ahead. Unfortunately, or fortunately vancouver is a sleeping town. the casino is supopsed to be the busiest place in this city. And compared to the indian casinos and vegas, it was not even close to their slow times of the day. Not much to do. Today I’m hitting the downtown area for food and live music. It’s cool everyone looks like me and speaks english. hahahaha Except all the phillippeanos. Mike you would love it here. Every working female since the shipping yard, hotel, casino etc is a phlip. All the guys are so interested in my trip and tell em about how they crashed some sort of small bike 50c or so in the phillippeans years ago, blah blah blah.
Anyway, everyone is nice and I can’t wait to get to germany already.
